We camped for two days. Always a great place. Quiet and peaceful. There are things to do but we usually come to veg and recharge.
Maybe they are in transition but the service was inadequate at the restaurant. The facility is fantastic and worth visiting in of itself.
My daughter, two grandkids and I stopped there for a bite to eat before the fireworks on July 3rd. It's a beautiful area! Our food was very good and our waitress, Lisa, was awesome! She had just started working there but you would never have guessed it! We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the live music! It was my first time there and I'm planning to return!!
Was disappointed that I was there for my niece’s wedding and did not have access to the family suite because I am disabled and in a wheelchair. I missed out on time with my family as well as the rehearsal dinner and gift opening that took place in the family suite and also had to pay full price for the room I had to stay in. Although I was able to use the tub seat because I have some mobility, I’m not sure that most would. There was no shower just the tub that had a seat that folded down across the tub. The food was not up to par either. The buns were cold as if they were just taken from the refrigerator and the hamburger patties were dry and too well done. The baked beans were burned and we didn’t get the right potato salad that was ordered. Although the place was beautiful, the service and accessibility fell far short of what we expected for the expensive price we had to paid for our room at Buffalo Ridge.
Great place to stay. Everyone is so nice.
